A: CampusLogic helps its clients by providing interim financial aid staffing, project based financial aid consultants, and business process outsourcing solutions across the entire financial aid lifecycle. Our financial aid service offerings include student contact, document collection, verification, award packaging, disbursement processing, refund management, and default prevention.

Q: What information would we need to provide for an assessment of our operations?
A: For a typical Office Assessment, our team of financial aid consultants will ask for a variety of information in advance to make the most effective use of our time while at your campus. We will request your financial aid policies and procedures, the organizational structure of the financial aid office, all forms and publications that discuss financial aid with prospective and enrolled students, annual reports, recent audits, cohort default rate reports and program review reports, and other information believed to be pertinent to our understanding of your institution’s environment.

A: Due to the current economic downturn, it is more important than ever to educate your student body on how to manage their finances during and following separation from school. Financial literacy is the key to a student and school’s success. CampusLogic provides online tools such as counseling, money management courses, mentoring and more.
Q: How can CampusLogic decrease my schools cohort default rate?
A: CampusLogic default management solutions focus on financial literacy, contact management and default aversion initiatives to decreases a school’s cohort default rate. CampusLogic’s team of financial aid consultants assist with report reconciliation, student notification, appeals of cohort default rates and inbound/outbound telephone support. Our goal is to counsel each student on the importance of loan repayment and overall debt management.
Q: Tell me the difference between financial aid consultant services and outsourcing services.
A: The difference between the various services is duration and project objective. Staffing and consulting projects are typically short term and focused on providing additional resources with specific expertise and experience to resolve a temporary issue. Outsourcing projects are usually at least a year long and transfer accountability for a particular function or process to CampusLogic.
Q: Do CampusLogic’s clients have to use specific software?
A: CampusLogic’s staff works with all student information systems (SIS) as well as utilizing our internal software for the verification process. A guiding principle at CampusLogic is all work should be transparent to the client whether utilizing the schools SIS or our internal software. For this reason, all work is completed or updated in our clients SIS.
