Joining the executive team in 2015, Heather brings nearly two decades of strategic B2B marketing leadership to CampusLogic. She oversees the development of all marketing strategy, content, events, and product marketing—and even those neat-o avatars you see on our website and collateral.
A veteran in the education technology space, her career journey has included stops at other Phoenix-based EdTech companies including rSmart, Picmonic, and KnowledgeNet. She is a graduate of The University of Arizona where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
The ABCs of Student Finance
When thinking about ‘the ABCs of Student Finance’ (improving accessibility, reducing student borrowing, driving down the cost of administration), Heather finds accessibility most important. “Education changes lives,” she says. “Improving accessibility is both a challenge and a necessity. “Unfortunately,” she continues, “as many as 40% of low-income students accepted into college fail to actually enroll—a challenge researchers attribute to a lack of clarity in the financial aid process which causes students to disengage and drop out altogether. I love working in an environment committed fixing this problem.”
Heather at Home
The mother of a high-energy daughter, Heather’s home life is filled with hoverboards, spelling bees, science projects, and “adventures” in the kitchen.
