CampusLogic Announces First Schools to Implement StudentVerification in 2015

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CampusLogic’s StudentVerification platform helps schools save time and improve student experience

Phoenix, Ariz. (January 15, 2015) – Today CampusLogic announced the signing of its two newest clients and the first of 2015: Northwest Mississippi Community College and California Baptist University. Both schools have signed up for StudentVerification, a cloud-based software that automates the FAFSA verification and C-code resolution processes.

“Northwest is looking to simplify the verification process for our students by giving them control over the document submission process and giving our financial aid counselors more time to award aid,” said Terry Bland, Director of Financial Aid at Northwest Mississippi Community College. “CampusLogic’s StudentVerification product makes this possible.”

Many schools still employ manual, largely paper-driven systems to handled financial aid, including the verification process. StudentVerification provides a student self-service portal where the entire verification process is managed digitally, facilitating student notifications, document collection, data validation and school communication. Previous CampusLogic customers have reduced verification processing times by 50 to 90 percent with StudentVerification. New SMS features will further decrease this cycle time.

“We are pleased to welcome Northwest Mississippi Community College and California Baptist University to our StudentVerification platform, which will substantially reduce the verification cycle time for both schools,” said Gregg Scoresby, CampusLogic CEO. “We commend the schools’ innovative actions and dedication to improving their students’ experience with financial aid.”
