Startup Bracket-style Competition Announces 8 Finalists, including CampusLogic
Phoenix, Ariz. (March 4, 2015) CampusLogic is proud to be among the Top 8 finalists in Venture Madness, the bracket-style startup competition pitting Southwestern startups against one another for $50,000 in cash prizes. Founded by Invest Southwest in partnership with the Arizona Commerce Authority, Venture Madness seeks to connect investors with ventures in the region.
“Arizona has an opportunity to position itself as the leader in ed tech,” said CampusLogic CEO Gregg Scoresby. “At CampusLogic, we intend to be a key part of building that ecosystem.”
The first rounds of the competition were decided by voters’ brackets to reduce contestants to 16 companies. Those 16 competed in three-minute live demos yesterday during which they pitched to a panel of judges. CampusLogic went up against Numa Tactical and progressed to the next round. Today, the remaining eight companies square off in six-minute presentations. One winner will be crowned the 2015 Venture Madness Champion.
