It’s hard to believe that it was over a month ago that we were in Washington, D.C. at NASFAA’s national conference. It feels like just yesterday! In honor of one of our favorite hashtags, #ThrowBackThursday (#TBT), we asked our team members to reflect on their NASFAA conference experiences.
Biggest takeaways, best memories, and favorite NASFAA 2016 elements:
“Driving my big RV down the narrow roads! Just kidding! I really enjoyed being able to sit and talk with attendees from all over the country,” Niki Harris, Regional Director, SWASFAA.
“Best memory: Laughing so hard I literally almost fell on the floor at our customer dinner. That’s what happens when you sit next to Julie Wilson from Laramie County Community College,” Chrisy Woll, VP of Customer Success.
“Meeting with current—and hopefully future—customers and reconnecting with contacts from around the regions,” Chris Jordan, Regional Director, WASFAA. (And no, we didn’t model our #FinAidSuperhero after Chris Jordan, but man was that funny!)
“The impact CampusLogic has on the industry was my biggest takeaway. The conversations I was able to have with schools that came to the booth and talking with them about needs within their FA office. It was nice to see how many people thought our platform was a great concept and wanted to learn more,” Jennifer Hannon, Customer Success Manager.
“The biggest takeaway for me was the genuine excitement and enthusiasm our customers have for CampusLogic, both the products and the people,” Steven Morris, Regional Director, WASFAA.
“My favorite elements of NASFAA were the FSA sessions on Verification, the 2017-2018 FAFSA, and the Federal Update. Add to that meeting our clients and it was a great even all-around,” Heather Moffat, Customer Success Manager.
“Biggest takeaway: How much our customers really love what we’re doing, and love working side-by-side with us to disrupt this industry! I can’t count how many times current customers brought new schools over to meet us and chat,” Mark McGinnis, Regional Director, EASFAA.
“The customer dinner CampusLogic hosted was fantastic. We got to spend some social time with our customers and really get to know them better,” Kristi Punches, Customer Success Manager.
