We Are Nice and Take Care of Each Other

Gregg founded CampusLogic in 2011 to solve a very clear problem: “I believed that we could help colleges and universities change lives by simplifying the student Financial Aid experience,” he recalls. Today, his vision is a robust Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform—the only one of its kind in higher education.

Professional Path

Prior to setting out on his highly entrepreneurial journey, Gregg earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Cornell University. He spent the early part of his career consulting at Arthur Andersen where he led a 200-person student financial aid outsourcing operation. In 2001, he launched his first company, Core3, a financial aid consulting and outsourcing firm.

The ABCs of Student Finance

Gregg is a firm believer in ‘the ABCs of Student Finance’ (improving accessibility, reducing student borrowing, and driving down the cost of administration). In fact, these beliefs are the driving force behind CampusLogic and almost everything he does. “Education changes lives,” he says. “We help make financial aid accessible, which means helping schools make higher education accessible.”

When He’s Not at Work

A father of five—and grandfather of one—Gregg’s hobbies range from hanging with the family and supporting foster care to nurturing EdTechAZ, an organization he founded in 2015 to showcase the many education technology firms that have launched throughout the Phoenix region.
